Having commenced operations in 1985 as a small business venture, Suren Cooke Agencies has grown to be one of the leading pest management solution providers in Sri Lanka as well as in Maldives at present. It is a remarkable achievement considering the long journey and the challenges in the market. We are also committed towards bringing greener and more environmentally friendly practices to the forefront of the industry.

Mr. Suren Cooke - Managing Director
Mr. Suren Cooke, Managing Director of Suren Cooke Agencies, founded the company in 1985 as a small business venture which has since grown to be one of the leading pest management solution providers in Sri Lanka as well as the Maldives.
He has over 40 years' experience and professional knowledge in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), termite control and fumigation (residences, warehouses, ships and aircrafts). He is a trained Applicator of Phosphine Fumigants by Detia Degech (Germany) and is trained in household insecticides and equipment by Roussel Uclaf. On completion of his technical training received by Rentokil (UK and Singapore) he oversaw the setting up of Finlay Rentokil in Sri Lanka in the early 80's.
Mr. Suren Cooke was a consultant to the Montreal Protocol under the Ministry of Environment for Sri Lanka. His valued input and technical knowledge were sought after as he was consulted by the Maldivian government on the control of the Bubonic Plague, initiating from rodents on ships entering the Maldives.
Mrs. Dishni Cooke - Director
Since the inception of the company, in 1985, Mrs. Dishni Cooke has been a Director and Head of Finance of Suren Cooke Agencies. She is an accredited fumigator by the Department of Agriculture Australia under the Australian Fumigation Accreditation Scheme (AFAS).
Mr. Lincoln Kumar Ramiah - Director
Mr. Lincoln Kumar Ramiah first joined Suren Cooke Agencies in 1986 as an Executive, one year after its inception, until 1992. His career then took him to Bahrain for a period of one year as an Operations Manager for Bahrain Marketing and Environmental Services, after which he rejoined Suren Cooke Agencies as an operations Manager till 1994. He then spent the next 10 years (1994 - 2004) as the Service Manager for Saudi Arabian Marketing and Environmental Services. In November 2009, Mr. Ramiah rejoined Suren Cooke Agencies where is currently serving as a Director to date.
Mr. Ramiah has a vast experience in Integrated Pest Management, pre and post construction soil treatments and disinfection treatments.
Mr. Ramiah is also an accredited Xterm Termite Baiting Installer by Sumitomo Chemical, Vice President of the Pest Managers Association of Sri Lanka, and an accredited fumigator by the Department of Agriculture Australian under Australian Fumigation Accreditation Scheme (AFAS).
Mr. Sheran Cooke - Director
Mr. Sheran Cooke joined Suren Cooke Agencies in 1999 and currently serves as a Director of the company. His qualifications include an Associate Degree in Information Technology (Australian College of Business Technology) and a Bsc. Degree in Information Technology (Edith Cowan University). He has over 22 years’ experience and professional knowledge in Integrated Pest Management
Mr. Sheran Cooke was the consultant to the Prime Minister on disinfection treatments in the aftermath of Tsunami in 2004 and is currently the project head for the implementation of the production, and the production facility, of SureKill Tamper-Proof Rodent Bait Stations (using recycled plastic). He is a trained applicator of Phosphine Fumigants by Detia Degesch (Germany), Methyl Bromide by Mebrom Inc. (USA) and an accredited installer of Xterm Termite Baiting from Sumitomo Chemical (Japan).
Mr. Rajitha Cooke - Director
Mr. Rajitha Cooke joined Suren Cooke Agencies in 2001 and currently serves as a Director of the company. His qualifications include a Bsc. Degree in B.Com (Deakin University - Australia). He has over 20 years’ experience and professional knowledge in Integrated Pest Management
In addition to the above, Mr. Rajitha Cooke is also a key delegate for participation in Pest Control seminars and conferences in USA, Turkey, France, India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Africa. He is also a contributor to the development of a research paper on FUMIGATION STANDARDS FOR LIQUID PHOSPHINE (ECO2FUME -2% PHOSPHINE IN98% CARBON DIOXIDE W/W) FOR THE CONTROL OF QUARANTINE PESTS.
