Mosquitoes are aquatic insects which are notorious for spreading dangerous deceases such as Dengue, Filarial, Malaria & Japanese Encephalitis. They breed in water and after a complete metamorphosis reach adulthood, at which time, they become a nuisance and a vector. Sri Lanka itself has been plagued by Mosquito afflicted diseases severely over different time durations over the past few years. In some cases, they have turned out to be quite fatal taking away the lives of plenty. Like any disease, early identification and control is key to treating them, although being mindful and preventing them is a more favourable outcome.
